Aunty Sylvia's Na Honu

Aunty Sylvia's Na Honu is a lovely home away from home in the Kapoho Beach Lots neighborhood on the east side of the Big Island. In the front yard, behind a private fence and gates, is a good-sized private thermally fed tidal pond. Aunty Sylvia herself has stocked and cares for the colorful tropical fish in her pond and you can delight in feeding them vegetable scraps and swimming with them! The front yard is also graced with glorious flowers including many orchids. These are for the enjoyment of all of our guests, so please don't pick the flowers!

Inside Aunty Sylvia's you will find comfortable easy chairs in the living room for realxing in front of the flat screen TV. The front lanai has the best views of the pond and of the access path to the Champagne Pond across the street. The kitchen is fully equipped, so there is no need to go to restaurants for meals! Enjoy outdoor dining on the lanai overlooking the pond, where there is a table and four chairs. Two bedrooms offer comfortable beds, a Queen and a Full. The Master bedroom with Queen bed has a nice bathroom with a stand up shower and direct access to the outside. The second bedroom opens to the living room and the guest bathroom has a stand up shower.

Amenities include a DVD player in both the living room and the Master Bedroom, a washing machine and clothesline for sun dried towels, two lounge chairs outside by the pond and a charcoal BBQ grill.

Year-round rate range is $125 - $265 per night, depending upon party size and dates of your visit. Cleaning fee is $100.
