Aloha and Welcome to “Hale Kukui Ola” (House Full of Light), the perfect place to begin your Hawaiian Holiday vacation.
As you first drive up to Hale Kukui Ola you can’t help but be impressed by the beautiful gardens that greet you. Some of the unique and special qualities of this home are the expansive lanai with ocean
and mountain views, a four-person jacuzzi situated in a private setting amoung beautiful vegetation, a deck to sunbathe, and a great outside shower with natural lava stone floors.
Wonderful natural light floods the home from the many windows throughout, hence it's name "House Full of Light". When you enter Hale Kukui Ola's second-floor main living area, you'll notice the inviting open floor plan and dramatic cathedral ceilings
accentuated with stylish island decor. The living room offers a comfortable place to entertain and relax, including aTV/DVD with Netflix access! A lovely kitchen, for those that enjoy cooking, complete with stainless steel appliances and all the cookware you
will need to prepare some wonderful meals. You have the option of indoor dining or dine outdoors on the lanai and take in the incredible Puna sky. The master bedroom is here too, offering a brand new King-sized bed plus a private master bath. On the third
level is a loft with a Queen platform bed that can also double as an office. For larger groups, the ground-floor suite is included featuring another living, dining area, kitchen and a Queen size bed with an additional full bathroom.
Relax in the hot tub after the day's activities or enjoy the expansive night sky filled with stars! There is an outdoor shower to cool you down or rinse off after enjoying the beach or a hike. Head back upstairs to the expansive lanai and enjoy the never-ending
ocean view or work on your tan! There is plenty to do nearby even though Hale Kukui Ola offers a peaceful and relaxing setting for your vacation! Just down the road is Kehena Black Sand Beach (some locals consider it "clothing optional"), the Hawaii
County safe lava viewing area, and the fun and lively Kalapana Wednesday Evening Market with local produce, prepared foods as well as arts and crafts to enjoy! You can also buy local produce at the Saturday Farmer's Market right in this neighborhood!
Year-round rate starts at just $110 per night for 2 guests, but will be higher during winter and holidays. Additional guests are $10 per person per night. Cleaning fee ranges from $95 to $125 depending upon party size.
