Fall asleep to the hypnotic sound of the ocean waves. Plop into the hammock under the wonderful fragrant plumeria tree. Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Kapoho Bay, only 50 yards away. Stroll a short distance down the nearly traffic-less lane to Champagne Pond, a huge geothermally heated warm pond, and snorkel in the always calm warm waters with sea turtles and colorful tropical fish.
Honeymoon couples love The Cottage! It is ideal for a single person, couple, or small family. The ocean-view bedroom has a queen bed. A sofabed in the living room provides additional sleeping space. There is one full bath with a large shower, and an additional outdoor shower head allows you to rinse off easliy after a dip in the ocean, just around the corner.
From the wraparound deck you can watch the ocean, listen to the waves, and admire the tropical flowers, banana and palm trees. There is also lanai (covered porch) with a picnic table and barbecue for your outdoor dining pleasure. We also provide deck chairs, a deck table and beach chairs.
The cute kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, rice cooker, pots and pans, cutlery, dishes, and so on. In other words, it has everything you need except for the food!
The Cottage sits on a grassy, private lot landscaped with coconuts, bananas, 3 types of plumeria (the most wonderfully scented flower), pineapple, papaya, hibiscus, red ginger, kolia, green ti, red ti, bougainvillea, and many other tropical plants. Lounging in the hammock under the stars is a favorite activity among our guests!
To make your stay comfortable, we provide linens, telephone with answering machine, free high-speed Internet, washing machine, satellite TV with movie channels and CD-quality commercial-free music stations, DVD, and a full stereo system (CD player, AM/FM radio and cassette deck). You will also find Hawaiian music to set the mood for your stay in paradise.
